Jennifer Horwath:

  • Proquest databases that we thought are free are no longer free, Proquest will turn off access so we want to make sure that they won’t be discoverable in Primo VE

  • we have a couple of records in our IZ

  • What is the difference between deleting and changing to CDI only full text activation? Does the CDI option mean it can still be found if we have that sort of search parameter in our Primo VE, but if we don’t want it to be found at all, we would just delete the record?

Danielle Emon:

  • Are you deleting the bibliographic record loaded with that collection?

  • Some of them were in your IZ? Were some of them standalone records that were associated with a collection?

Jennifer Horwath:

  • I don’t think it’s a standalone record

Danielle Emon:

  • I believe there are differences between deleting your records and disassociating

  • There would be a difference and you certainly don’t want to have that material searchable in Primo if it’s a resource you don’t have access to

Liana Giovando:

  • this could be a good question for Nicole Morgan at OCLS and her eResources team, I think they have looked into that

  • send something directly to Nicole or the HelpDesk
