Session Notes

  • Update on the CLO Metadata Standards

  • Update on Workflows from the Metadata and Cataloguing Subcommittee

  • Switch-to-Support - questions, comments and concerns

  • Multiple Holds - a requestable and non-requestable item

  • Request for a future session on DeDuping

    • Discussion on DeDuplication and resource Duplication followed

  • Renew Issues in Alma

  • Issues placing a hold on a physical item from a personal account

  • Access/Browser issues - often having to clear cache

    • Additional Info from Lingling: Alma is a web application, developed by Angular (a JavaScript framework), so most of time it relies on sessions and cookies cached on your browser to work properly. So 'clearing your browser cache' will help fix issues a lot. it is a nature of this type of application, like a reboot a system you used to hear to fix some issue with a standalone application.
