Study Group Session 32: Training your Users
The recording of the Study Group Session on June 29 is now available. For more general information and the schedule, see the Page 1+ Study Group Sessions page.
Session Notes
Training Materials have been made available through the Page 1+ Alma & Primo Guide
It has been created this way to provide a fully customizable experience for colleges, allowing you to choose and modify what resources you want to use when training your users (staff or student level)
There are 3 sections of the LibGuide that are particularly helpful for training:
Ex Libris will not be providing training to individual colleges. They use the train-the-trainer approach, so training was provided to library staff directly involved with implementation and then they share this information with their library staff.
Colleges are responsible for training their library staff.
A walk-through of the Page 1+ Alma & Primo Guide, with special attention to the training materials sections
An look forward at things to come/things presently in the works
Please share training resources that have been created so that they can benefit all colleges
Brainstorming session (what else might be helpful to college staff during this period)
