Description

The Learning Portal is CLO’s flagship collaborative service designed to provide 24/7 virtual access to a wide variety of open learning resources, tools, and learning supports, available in both English and French, and accessible to all Ontario college students and faculty.

As part of its Ministry-funded mandate to support open education resources, OCLS provides an annual funding commitment to support the Learning Portal's ongoing development, including the Maamwi Hub, for all Ontario colleges.

Governance

The Learning Portal Advisory Committee provides strategic direction and oversight for The Learning Portal, a collaborative, open resource that was created by the 24 Ontario college libraries and provides a wide variety of open learning resources, tools and learning supports for college students and faculty, in French and English. The current chairs are Julie Mandal (Conestoga) and Tanis Fink.
