650 bib tags not preserved

Ex L

copy bib 650 tags to a field specified by Georgian in the 950-999 range
remove “650##” from mig form

College

Choose field in the range 950-999 to copy 650 tags to.
Preferred field is: no longer applicable; OCLS will be assisting us in migrating to 690
Checked a few titles in new extract and OCLS did move these to 690. No action to be taken.

change to staff primary ID at Cutover?

College

We are NOT changing what was originally selected as PRIMARY_ID. We will use student number recognizing that staff do not have one and ALMA will generate a PRIMARY_ID to populate that field. We are reconsidering HR integration thinking it might be better to do so sooner than later but may depend on IT resources. Matchpoint would be email address.

TL mismatch between subfield mapped for Item Type and values on migration form

At TL, field mapping listed 999$x as source for “ITem Type” but migration form mapping took incoming values from 999$t. And: not all incoming $t values were accounted for on the migration form

College and ExL

confirm Item material type mapping in the CO survey
make sure that the 999 field mapped as Item Type, e.g. 999$t, is actually the source of Sirsi values on the “Item Type” tab of the migration form
Make sure all 999$t values from shadowed and unshadowed bibs are accounted for on the migration form.

From Andrea (5/4): @Carol McNabb , please clarify your intention about courses. Up here you say you want to retain them, but in the “Data Preferences” table you indicate that you will have a new extract. Do you want to retain what’s in Alma now, or give us a new course extract for Cutover? Hi Andrea, sorry for the confusion. See below--re-extract them. THX!

Do you mean because (in error) the 996=Ebooks (Coutts)? OK. It’s only two titles.
