Introduction

Ex Libris has prepared pre-extraction baseline (“version zero”) forms based on your test load forms and changes discussed on the La Cité - Notes for Cutover page. The baseline forms, both Field Mapping and Migration, have been posted below. Please review these forms and follow instructions included in the Sirsi Field Mapping Form Version Tracking table and the Sirsi Migration Form Version Tracking table below.

 @LLacel , your forms looked really good. I updated your field mapping with the following changes:

  1. I mapped the old Sirsi SERC_TITLE_KEY to a note field (otherwise it wouldn’t migrate anywhere, since you switch to SISAC_ID as a matchpoint

  2. I changed the addr1 type to “home,' as we had discussed in notes for Cutover.

 

If you agree with these changes, there is no need to do anything more to your form and you can download this version as your final.

@LLacel , your migration form also looked good. I made a few minor changes, outlined below:

 

Download THIS VERSION of the migration form in order to make any changes (if needed) before you submit your final migration form.

For “Changes” listed below, there is no action needed unless you want to make a different choice than I did.

Questionnaire Tab

  • I changed the question about course unit mapping from blank to “no,” just for completeness.

  • I changed line 19 to “No,” otherwise you would see “4” in alt call numbers:

Item Base Status

  • I removed the lines for “HOLDS” and “CHECKEDOUT,” since items with these statuses should be in your loans and requests extracts. We don’t need 999$k to tell us that.
