Customizing Resource Sharing Request Confirmation letter

To customize your Resource Sharing Request Confirmation letter that is sent to patrons when they place a resource sharing request for the soft launch of the resource sharing service:

  1. Go to Configuration > Select your Institution from the Configuring drop-down menu at the top > General > Letters > Letters Configuration

  2. Search for the Resource Sharing Request Confirmation Letter

  3. Click the more actions (...) menu to the right of the letter and click Edit. 

  4. Select Labels.

  5. From this page you can customize the text of different sections of the letter by:

    1. Select Customize from the more actions (…) menu beside the section you would like to edit to notify your patrons that the resource sharing service is still being tested.

    2. Enter the text you would like to add in the Description box. For example, you could edit the Description of the start label. Sample text:

The item you requested through Page 1+ has been submitted. You have requested material beyond [enter library/institution name]. This process is in Beta testing and may take several weeks to arrive. If you choose to cancel this request, please email [enter library e-mail].

  1. Click Save

  2. Review the text of the letter in the Preview

  3. Click Save
