Subcommittee Chair Update from Implementation Steering Committee

Bibliographic records with ISSN and ISBN (Deferred)

OLAC and 337 for Streaming videos/streaming audio

• The subcommittee discussed a possible change to the 337 field value instructions in the LibGuide for Streaming Videos and Streaming Audio.

• It was agreed that the value instruction “## $acomputer$bc$rdamedia” would be kept as a mandatory entry. However, the value instruction “## $avideo$bv$2rdamedia” would be moved to the a note in the “additional information” section for the 337 field. The note will detail that the “## $avideo$bv$2rdamedia” is not required - however, it can acceptable to repeat the 337 if information for both is available.

• ACTION ITEM: Lauren Rupert to make applicable changes to the LibGuide concerning the 337 field for Streaming Videos and Streaming Audio
