This page provides a running update of changes made to electronic collections in the Network Zone.

Changes covered here include, for example: activations, deletions, and changes to settings that impact many colleges. (Changes that impact only a few colleges may be communicated through direct conversation instead.)

Collection has been activated in NZ and distributed to subscribing colleges. (This collection was previously missing from NZ.)

Removed:

  • Elsevier SD SD College Edition Journals Collection - Health and Life Sciences [SCHLS]

  • Elsevier SD SD College Edition Journals Collection - Physical Sciences [SCPS]

Added:

  • Elsevier SD College Edition Health & Life Sciences

  • Elsevier SD College Edition Physical Sciences

The [SCHLS] and [SCPC] collections were linking to the journal home page rather than to the articles in Primo. These have been replaced by the two “added” collections.

As we’ve discovered the Nursing Collection content is not included in this resource, we have un-distributed it from any colleges who exclusively subscribe to the Nursing Collection.

We activated this collection to support access the content that don’t have their own collections in Alma (Nursing, Master Career & Technical Education Collection, Technical Education Collection). After some testing, it became clear this is not a viable solution. We have now deleted the collection and are exploring other solutions for that missing content.
