Meeting invitation text

Hello everyone,

As part of the Collaborative Library Services Platform (CLSP) Implementation Project, Ex Libris, our leading proponent in providing the colleges’ new library services platform (LSP) software, has offered to host an information session detailing their security, privacy, and compliance measures on Tuesday, July 13th at 9am.

The LSP software will integrate with colleges' student information systems, financial systems, and other important areas under the purview of college Information Technology services.

This information session will provide an opportunity for you and other members of your team to review documentation from Ex Libris, and to ask questions of key resources related to security, privacy, and compliance. Please note that this session will not describe details of the implementation project plan but is intended to provide a high-level overview of important security, privacy, and compliance measures at Ex Libris.

Please take a moment to review the Ex Libris Trust Center as well as the attached documentation prior to the information session. The Knowledge Center and Ex Libris’ Global Cloud Status site also provide transparency for Ex Libris customers. These sites are open to the public. Please provide written questions in advance so we will be able to move quickly through those and address other questions that arise during the meeting.

The SaaS Agreement will be signed by OCLS’s President (William Best, Cambrian College) on behalf of the 18 colleges participating in the CLSP initiative. Your feedback is important in this phase because contract negotiations are still ongoing, and we want to ensure we come to an agreement with the vendor that will protect us and the colleges with regards to IT security.

Note that as contract negotiations are still ongoing, this information is confidential.

You will find information on joining the meeting with Microsoft Teams below. This meeting will also be recorded and available from a password protected site. Please contact Liana Giovando, CLSP Implementation Project Manager, for access to the recording.

Thank you,
