NZ/IZ Linking Update & Next Steps Decisions - up to the ISC? (Danielle)
Matchpoints and duplication tolerance
Looking to make match points out of the ISBN or the OCLC
Not all colleges are using OCLC, so now might be the time to expand our horizons
Draft workflow for IZ linking - use strict rules for permitted linking
This is meant to save people from running multiple linking jobs (saving time)
Limits on types of materials
Logical Set and Itemized Set
There is a limit of items that can be uploaded in a set
Next Steps:
Waiting on Jennifer Mo to run the Analytics job
Will need to run a small job with the help of a library to ensure that this report behaved the way that it is intended to - if it passes the testing it will be ready to go.
There will be a priority order for college putting those who need to clear backlog first
Results will be brought back to this group
We will need to create a clear “best” procedure that we think of and then present it to the larger group
Tidy this up - perhaps make it into a workflow
Work on a briefing note to present to the ISC (more accurately: a project plan)
Any other business?
Future Meetings
This group will continue to meet - we intend to keep the same day, time, frequency, and length of meetings
ACTION ITEM: Liana Giovando to send out new meeting invites for meetings going forward
Projects for Next Meeting
