OCLS is preparing to complete data cleanup projects on behalf of colleges, but it will be necessary to plan the work and prioritize projects. Cleanup projects that can be run in batch and impact the greatest number of colleges will be prioritized. We are requesting proposals for data cleanup projects that you would like support with. For example, taking care of cannot-be-discarded items, and purging inactive holds.
We will review your proposals and let you know if there is capacity to complete each project. Some may be deferred until after our Go-live date in July 2022. Others may be out of scope for OCLS support services.
We anticipate that many of you will identify additional cleanup projects once you have the chance to see your data in your Alma environments. We will leave this call for proposals open and remind you to submit requests again in March. In the meantime, please let us know if there are projects we can begin immediately.
OCLS is already prepared to complete patron purges and removal of unpaid fines.
