Do you have all the collections you should (and none you shouldn't)?
View or export a list of collections that are activated in the NZ for your institution:
Using the persistent search box, select “Electronic Collection” then click the advanced search icon. Use the Advanced Search to search the field “Electronic Collection: Available For” and then choose your college.
Review the Collections listed. Download the results using the Export List feature in order to take notes, if desired. *This method doesn’t work for viewing items in the IZ, presumably because the “Available For” criteria is a Network zone datapoint (unconfirmed).
Note: Resources in your list that have a greyed out “Available for” status are resources that are available to all colleges - you will not see your particular college listed, in these cases. There is currently an issue where a few resources are incorrectly showing as available to all colleges. This issue is under investigation (see link for list of databases affected).
View or export a list of collections that are activated in the IZ for your institution:
Using the persistent search box, select “Electronic Collection” then click the advanced search icon. Use the Advanced Search to search the field “Has Inventory” “Equals” “Yes”.
This will show any activations you requested via the E-Resource Activation form or that occured through PQIS.
What if I find discrepancies?
If you locate issues within the IZ, seek to resolve them yourself. If you’re stumped, post the issue (with examples) to Basecamp.
If you locate issues within the NZ, post the issue (with examples) to Basecamp, and copy Nicole Morgan at OCLS.
