Notes

  1. Recalled item report on the Fulfillment dashboard was determined to be more beneficial to collection, so it was out of scope of this set of work.

  2. Loans Item Ratio was also determined to be more in the scope of collection development.

  3. Loan per Library iasnot being adjusted because the Loan per Patron Group has library information built in.

  4. Last step is to create the dashboard with our modified reports. Participants will review the training documentation for dashboards and come prepared for the next working meeting.

Notes

  1. Worked on and customized Page1+ Item Circulation Statistics report

    1. Instead of having one column containing both in-house and not in-house loans, changed it to two columns - Loans and In Library Use

    2. Will have library and location prompts when we include this report as part of the new fulfillment dashboard

    3. Added Library Name column

    4. Set the Loans column to sort descending

  2. We skipped the Circulation Notes report since we didn’t see the need of using this report.

  3. Worked on and customized Page 1+ Count of Items Loaned by Patron Group

    1. Only contains real loans (i.e., not in-house loans) in the Loans column

  4. Worked on and customized Page 1+ Loan Counts by Title

    1. Instead of having one column containing both in-house and not in-house loans, changed it to two columns - Loans and In Library Use

    2. Set the Call Number column to sort ascending

    3. Removed MMS ID column

  5. We agreed to cancel the meeting on Dec. 15 as most of us would be absent. Lingling will send another doodle later to schedule Working Hour meetings for Jan/Feb 2023.

Notes

  1. Edit Out of the Box report “Physical Inventory Count”

    1. Added Library Name

    2. Added Location Name

    3. Added Year of Creation

    4. Added Month of Creation

    5. Decided to contact Centennial and Georgian to ask for what they use the Item Type report. Amanda Van Mierlo Could potential use Item Additions/Withdrawls.

  2. Ask George Brown how they set up self checkout. Amanda Van Mierlo If they are individual circulation desks then they can use the Loans by Circulation Desk report.

  3. Examined Loans by Hour report. Useful report that might be improved by adding a prompt to filter by date. Ask if the combination of loans and Inhouse loans is preferred.

  4. Next time we will continue to work through the Fulfilment Dashboard and see if any more modifications are needed. Once that is done we will look for any pieces of information is missing.

  5. We may need to make training material. Both about editing reports/dashboards and about scheduling reports (recreating the monthly delivered reports).
