Summary of College IT Department Participation in the CLSP Implementation

This draft describes the participation of college IT departments that will be needed during the Collaborative Library Services Platform implementation.

All participating libraries must ensure college IT and other relevant departments (e.g. Finance, Registrar, Procurement/Purchasing) are informed of the project and are aware that they will be required to support several activities.

Please note, some of the dates below are best estimates based on what we know now. Please refer back to this page regularly as the details may change.

See the CLSP Implementation Project Plan for a complete project overview.

Once colleges have been provided the Alma test environments, ExL will set up Support Portal Cases for each college - one Alma one Primo for each college. IT personnel should be included as a contact in Support Portal Cases. The cases will be used to provide instruction and support for college personnel working to set up user authentication.

Ex Libris will have a dedicated IT consultant to guide colleges through the setup. They will plan to meet individually with each college if necessary and set up meetings for colleges using the following Authentication types: SAML, LDAP, CAS.
