Many of these appear to be IZ apps. Are there any apps that must be are activated in NZ? How does Alma Refine behave in a linked environment?
- Claudia: These are institution apps. If you have the right permissions, you can activate apps in the NZ but they will apply only to NZ records.
If a school uses Alma Refine app to update records in the IZ on records that are linked to the NZ, will the NZ records be updated?
- Claudia: Alma Refine can also work on a set, so my suggestion is to create a very small set, run the app on the IZ level and see what happens to the records in the NZ. Whatever change you make, it will be easy to reverse because the change is only to that subfield i.
