Page 1+ Alma & Primo Guide

LibGuides: Page 1+ Alma & Primo Guide: Home

Summary

The Page 1+ Alma & Primo VE Guide is a LibGuide that is a central source of Page 1+ training and reference information that will exist after Go Live. It can be used by all library staff involved with Alma and Primo VE. It was developed by the The Page 1+ Training Working Group (a subset of the Training, Communication and PR Subcommittee).

Currently, it includes:

  • Basics page for basic information on Alma, Primo and the Page 1+ Project

  • How to… in Alma section: covers Acquisitions, Fulfillment, E-resources, Resource Management and Customization & Integrations.

  • Transition to Alma section: Maps common tasks in current ILS to Alma and provides links to basic information on performing those tasks in Alma

  • Additional Training Resources

Training Plan

Each college must ensure their library staff are trained and ready to use Alma and Primo for Go Live on July 26. The Guide contains links to videos and documentation that can be used for training. It is recommended to start with the Basics page, then use the Transition section based on your ILS. The How To section contains some basic topics, but also more advanced topics.

Future Developments

The Working Group will continue working on new material and updating the existing guide.
