Alma Analytics Report Sharing Guidelines

Hello,

In partnership with OCLS, the Systems, Analytics and Data Subcommittee has prepared the Alma Analytics Report Sharing Guidelines with the intent of supporting collaboration and efficiency in data collection and analysis across the Page 1+ colleges.

Reports (or analyses) and dashboards in Alma Analytics can be shared across Page 1+ colleges, or between Page 1+ colleges and OCLS via different shared folders. The Page 1+ Consortium has two Alma Analytics shared folders:

  1. Shared folder 1 (Page 1+) will contain college reports ready to use and college reports that are works in progress.

  2. Shared folder 2 (OCLS) will contain CLO reports and OCLS reports.

The Alma Analytics Report Sharing Guidelines define usage of these shared folders and provide best practices for sharing reports. Both folders are thinly populated for now but will grow over time as the colleges and OCLS begin to leverage Alma Analytics more fully.

The Systems, Analytics and Data Subcommittee recommends that all Page 1+ colleges and OCLS agree to follow the Alma Analytics Report Sharing Guidelines. It will be necessary to review and update these guidelines on a regular basis to ensure they continue to meet the needs of Ontario college libraries. The most recent version of the guidelines will be available on the Page 1+ Alma and Primo VE Guide.

OCLS is available to support colleges working with Alma Analytics Reports. Contact helpdesk@ocls.ca for specific report needs or help with creating or troubleshooting a report.

Please Note: OCLS is updating how important communications about Page 1+ related services are shared across the college library community. Going forward, communications about OCLS services will be shared via targeted listservs. College Liaisons at each participating Page 1+ library have been contacted directly and asked to complete this form by Friday, November 11th.
