Syndetics Unbound Trial Ending – Decision Required

**This message has been sent to the CLO-18 Members and college liaisons the information has also been released in this confluence blog post. Apologies for the duplication.**

The colleges’ trial of Syndetics Unbound will expire at the end of September and we will finalize the contract with Syndetics (Proquest) for those libraries who wish to continue the service.

Please let us (to vroy@ocls.ca) know by September 15, 2022, if you wish to DISCONTINUE your Syndetics Unbound Service. If we don’t hear from you, we will assume you wish to continue with Syndetics and we will confirm and finalize your participation in the contract.

General Terms

• The initial term will be October 1 2022-March 31, 2023, moving the subscription to align with the fiscal year going forward.

• Initial pricing will be pro-rated for 6 months and invoicing will take place later this fall.

• Pricing will be grandfathered for the balance of this year for those colleges who had an existing Syndetics subscription; thereafter the total annual cost will be shared based on the standard allocation model

• Colleges who did not have an existing Syndetics subscription will pay $1495 (pro-rated for 6 months).
