Welcome to the e-resources team Amy! We are thrilled to have you working with us!

Implementation Steering Committee update

  • The Implementation Steering Committee is focusing on planning for the future; this means ensuring that Page 1+ continues to grow and that we leverage Alma/Primo for greater collaboration.

  • The Implementation Steering Committee is working on creating a new Steering Committee model (Page Turners) going forward.

  • In advance of the November 30th meeting the Implementation Steering committee is looking for each subcommittee to submit a one-page document on what they think needs to continue from their subcommittees.

Eresources/NZ items for review (Nicole)

  • As discussed, Nicole has added a note to the weird Nexus Uni collection

  • Ongoing discussion about the name change for the CEL collection

    • We can use the title override field in Primo/Alma to create a more direct title without interfering with the original title

  • Posed that there be one collection for perpetual access e-books and perpetual access documents

  • Discussion on the perpetual access statues of the CLE-Books at Canada Commons

  • ACTION ITEM: Nicole Morgan to work on publishing the guidelines/principles made by this subcommittee for OCLS.

  • ACTION ITEM: Aura Hill, Liana Giovando, and Nicole Morgan to meet to discuss the placement of these guidelines

Prepare Recommendations for CLO for the new e-resources committee

    • All relevant changes were made within the document

    • ACTION ITEM: Leigh Cunningham (Unlicensed) and Liana Giovando to meet separately to complete the eRAcq Subcommittee Recommendations for CLO

    • ACTION ITEM: Subcommittee members to reflect on the eRAcq Subcommittee Recommendations and see if there is anything that should be added

    • The eRAcq Subcommittee Recommendations to be brought to the ISC allows for some time for reflection

  • One pager delivered to the CLO Executive - for the November 30th CLO meeting. Submission of the one-pager should be November 4th to allow OCLS time to review and create complimentary documentation.

    • The majority of work set out by the subcommittee has been completed at this point

    • Work to identify future work that will need to be done to include in the one pager
