The eResources and Acquisitions Subcommittee has identified a list of collections that are not available in the CDI or in the CZ. The Subcommittee has also identified a short list of priority collections. OCLS will maintain the metadata for this select list of collections in the Network Zone. The CLO Metadata Standards can be used for cataloguing to ensure Marc records in local Institution Zones and the Network Zone provide for the best access and discoverability of learning materials. OCLS and the Metadata and Cataloguing Subcommittee have worked to update the CLO Metadata Standards with the goal of ensuring consistency and quality of Marc records that work in the Alma and Primo VE environment. These standards have been formatted into an easy-to-follow guide for library library professionals of any cataloguing capability.
Shared Resource Management Workflows
In addition to CLO Metadata Standards, documentation has been created to support cataloguing in Page 1+, including workflows, guidelines and other documents. Used for encourage library staff to find the workflow that is fastest and will save the most time.
