Overview
Implementation Committees are comprised library staff working in Ontario college libraries that are participating in the Collaborative Library Services Platform (CLSP), and professional staff working in the Ontario Colleges Library Service (OCLS). Members of the Committees develop the policies, procedures, and workflows related to administering and managing the CLSP. There is one Implementation Steering Committee and five Subcommittees for the following functional areas:
Metadata/Cataloguing Subcommittee
E-resources/Acquisitions Subcommittee
Systems/analytics/data Subcommittee
Discovery/Customer Service/Front end Subcommittee
Training/Communications/PR Subcommittee
Purpose of Committees
The CLSP Implementation Steering Committee (ISC) will oversee, guide, and lead the implementation of the Alma ExLibris Library Services Platform (LSP) in the 18 participating college libraries. They have the authority to make decisions based on recommendations, and/or elevate decisions to CLO and/or the OCLS Board as necessary. They provide guidance to the project, are accountable for the project’s success and approve the Project Charter and/or project plans.
The Subcommittees will provide research and recommendations into the best practices and applications of the CLSP withing their areas of expertise.
