Note: Libraries may find it easier to run an Analytics report to create a file of bibliographic MMSIDs that could be used to create an itemized set for linking. The report criteria should include OCoLC and ISBN numbers and filter for location. Other report criteria could include 024/028 as relevant for visual resources, but its use for matching requires further discussion. The goal is to create an itemized set of records for linking that contain unique IDs. |
3. Save an Excel list for each itemized set. Note: The upper limit for records saved to an Excel spreadsheet is 100,000. Libraries may find it useful to rely on the remainder of the logical set to confirm if unlinked records remain.
