Here are some options for managing notifications from Basecamp and some helpful tips.
Option 1: Reduce Basecamp Notifications
We received a few comments about the high volume of notifications from Basecamp.
To use Basecamp differently, there is an option to subscribe to a daily summary of activity (includes message board posts) on the Activity page. After you subscribe, you may turn off notifications in your profile.

3: Unsubscribe from Message Threads

You also have the option to unsubscribe from an individual message thread. You can still see the messages in Basecamp, but you won't be notified of subsequent posts to the thread. Use for topics are not of interest, or ones with lots of activity.
